What are Soap Nuts?
Well, we just call them Soap Nuts. Soap Nuts aren't really nuts.
They are the fruit of a tree (Sapindus Mukorossi) found primarily
in the Himalayas. They are an honest & natural alternative to
traditional laundry detergents and all chemically-infused
cleaners. Gentle on clothing, towels, bed linens and skin.
Soap Nuts are ideal for those with sensitive skin, eczema & psoriasis
and several allergies. So mild, they are perfect for baby clothes
and cloth diapers. Organic Soap Nuts are also great for septic
& grey water systems. You won’t see the foam like
commercial soaps, which contain artificial foaming agents.
Foam does not equate to cleaning power.
Soap Nuts are 100% natural, harvested from natural trees
grown in the wild, without any kind of chemicals, fertilizers,
or pesticides. The saponin (Sapindus Mukorossi tree) tastes bad to insects so no pesticides are needed, and the left-over liquid
from washes can be used in your garden
as natural pest control.
